Flood recovery:
Thank you to everyone - volunteers and supporters - that have made it possible for HeartLine to remain functional during a testing time! On October 4, 2009, the HeartLine building flooded from roof leakage and sustained massive damage. Within two week, we were back home with new carpet, ceilings and tile. Thank you to the UPS Foundation for a grants that allowed us to repair the Call Center and make it better than ever!

HeartLine Announces a New Executive Director:
Tom A. Taylor, II has been selected to be the new Executive Director and CEO for HeartLine, Central Oklahoma’s Community Connection. Taylor started with HeartLine in 2000 as a telephone volunteer. Soon, he was asked to serve on the Board of Directors and did so for four years. He decided to make his volunteer passion a career, and became a staffed HeartLine Call Specialist. With the absence of a Development Director at the time, Taylor was able to take the position and brought HeartLine to new heights in its fund development. Having served HeartLine for 10 years, Taylor is now serving as the leader for the organization. Tom is an Association for Fundraising Professional (AFP) member and a certified trainer for the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (A.S.I.S.T.) from Columbia University.
